A continuing theme I’m hearing on tours with prospects these days, is that they are looking for a “deal”. While there are indeed many deals to be found in San Francisco, they are not so frequently found in New Developments. The romantic idea of walking away with a home purchased through the short sale or foreclosure process wears off as quickly once a buyer wraps their head around a purchase, then makes several losing attempts to capture one – beat out by cash rich investors, or those with less emotional capital and much more time to invest in making this kind of purchase. That said – there are still some fantastic “DEALS” to be had in New Homes – you just have to adjust your perspective.
