555 Bartlett: Coming Very Soon!
555 Bartlett – bordered by Mission, 26th and Caesar Chavez Streets is a brand new 58 unit condominium project, ready for occupancy in the Spring of 2010. The building consists of 3 levels of one-, two- and three- bedroom homes, over retail (including a Walgreens) and underground parking. Built by San Francisco developer Seven Hills Properties (how’s that for a local name?), the building is currently nearing completion.
These homes will be an excellent choice for anyone looking to purchase a home in San Francisco – but struggling with a commute out of the City, or in dual directions. All of the reasons you’d want to live in SF are outside your door – and getting out of the house to the Peninsula, or Downtown is super easy. The location is in the middle of the Mission/Valencia Corridor action – equally close to 24th Street Bart (2 blocks), and the intersection of Mission and Valencia Streets (2 blocks) and all the Outer Mission food, nightlife, entertainment and convenience.
The homes themselves are simple, modern, clean and brand new. The kitchens and baths have sleek cabinetry, Bosch stainless steel appliances (gas ranges), washer/dryer hookups, great closet space, and most homes have private patios or decks. The building is anchored by a central courtyard, what they’re calling an “urban meadow” in their materials. This large sunny deck will have a BBQ and lots of plants and seating for the great Mission weather.
We’ll be taking a first look this weekend, before they open to the public. Public opening is planned for February, when pricing will be available as well. This will be a great building to get in early! As we’ve learned about financing, the first homes have incredible pricing, as developers look to meet minimum sales requirements to close loans. Do not sleep on this one! We predict it will sell out very quickly! For more information on pricing and a sneak preview, please contact Joshua Lawrence @ 415-971-0454 joshua@climbsf.com

I live in the neighborhood and have been watching the progress of this project. We’re very excited about the edition, but we have one reservation: good lord, please tell me that the hideous Tex-Mex Children’s Hospital color scheme on the outside is going away. 1992 called, they want their paint back.
