Old Mint Building Gets Bored, Lights Up – Interesting article w/ Video!
The old U.S. Mint Building in SoMa is destined to become a history museum by 2012, but in the meantime, it should be entirely uncontroversial to turn its empty gray shell into an ocean of pulsating blocks and psychedelic waterfalls. The “multimedia light show” was done by a company called Obscura Digital, which first modeled the building in 3D. Click through for some exciting music. [Fast Company, via The Snitch]
