The Hayes – An Inside Look

We enjoyed an inside look at The Hayes last week, and what a looker it is. From the outside, the building just oozes modern, chic San Francisco. From the 21st century take on the bay window to the sleek stonework facade at street level (which is wonderfully juxtaposed against cool metal grating on the balconies), this is a beautiful new addition to the Hayes Valley.

Inside, the units feature open layouts with rich, dark bamboo flooring in the common areas and carpet in the bedrooms. They’ve also used rather nice finishes, especially considering the modest price.

The kitchen keeps you right in the action with it’s openness to the rest of the living area, and features granite counters and choice of lighter and darker cabinetry.

And if you really need to stretch out, or just want to enjoy the fantastic views, you can always head up to the spacious rooftop patio. Invite your friends over and wow them with this:

This is just the kind of development San Francisco needs: good quality, classy living at a reasonable price. And of course it’s in a happening, convenient neighborhood.
